I've been in Tokyo in summer in 2010, and definetely, it's awful because the weather is extremely humid in summer; all day you're sweating!!!
In Croatia, where I've been in 2011, there is, more or less, the same temperature: humid, and boiling weather. The bright sunshine doesn't stop breathing, althought if you find a shade you can feel a little breeze that caresses your skin!
Because of that, I decided that whenever I can, I will go to cooler destinations with a mild temperature, for example, Iceland, Scotland, Canada, Norway.... I like warm countries too, but only if I have to go to the beach, in fact, I love go to the beach and sunburnt under the sun...
The last weekend, I went to Andorra, I did snowboard and it was wonderful: snow, sunny days and good company, so it was settled weather over the weekend.
Instead of that, the last year in december on 2010, I went to Alps, and the weather was different than this last weekend! In general the temperature was below zero, but, especially, one day there was a blizzard. For many hours was fallen snowflakes that came to cover our car, though in this snowstorm there wasn't wind nor gale force, only there was a drizzling.
That's all for now!!
PS: I don't know if I'll use this vocabulary in my real life, but at least, I practice!!
